Known for producing innovative, original work and for identifying and developing talent, Fiona’s feature films include the cult classic Topless Women Talk About Their Lives (1997), The Price of Milk (2001), The Strength of Water (2008), Matariki (2010) and Gary of the Pacific (2017). She is presently producing a children’s stop-motion animation series Kiri and Lou, a co-production with Canada, for CBC and TVNZ. Fiona began her career directing and producing documentaries (Hair, Blood) and factual series for Television New Zealand, including art history documentary series The Big Picture (2008), television drama series Topless Women Talk About Their Lives, and television dramas (as EP) Fish Skin Suit and Staunch (2000). All of her films have won international awards.
